KZ announced that it recently broke ground on a new $4.8 million, 80,750 square-foot lamination expansion project, to keep up with lightweight product demands. “Our lamination facility is expected to create up to 125 new jobs by 2017,” remarked Aram Koltookian, KZ chief operating officer. “In addition to lamination, the new plant, located in the heart of our production complex, will support aluminum welding and small part assembly for multiple plants.” Production is expected to be operational by late spring, 2015.
